Use this Classroom Speech Articulation Scavenger Hunt Activity to target all sounds in the initial, final, and medial position in addition to initial /r-blends/, /l-blends/, /s-blends/, and vocalic /r/. There is even a blank copy to target additional concepts. Each sound contains 12 classroom items with target words and a complete word list by sound is included.
This classroom themed activity is perfect for mixed speech articulation and language groups too! Have students with language and vocabulary goals search for vocabulary words then label, describe, or categorize.
How to Use:
- Cut out all the picture cards. Hide the cards around the room or place them in a sensory bin.
- Find the correct coloring sheet with the sound your student is working on. Ask the student to find vehicle pictures throughout the room or in a bin and match the picture to their coloring sheet. Say the target words.
- Magnifying glass to look for items and a sentence strip is included.
