Print this Winter Build A Snowman Direction Following Activity to target basic (colors, actions, etc.), spatial (on, above, under, between, next to, etc.), sequential (first, second, third), temporal (before, after), and other descriptive concepts.
How To Use:
Pick a direction card and state the description of the winter snowman items. Ask students to find the correct winter clothing item that is described using picture choices or have them build their own snowman.
Use included extension activity and have students make their own snowman by picking items and coloring them. Attach the completed snowman on top of the writing prompt sheet. Students can describe their individual winter snowman. A great take home activity or perfect for winter decorations on a bulletin board.
Students can build a snowman together by using a template to assist in showing where each item goes, or they can create their own combinations.
All snowman items come in black and white and perfect for low ink printing or full color. The extra extension activity is great for take home speech and language practice to encourage carry-over of concepts!
