Print this Winter Language Game to target a variety of language skills with a fun winter theme! Students will practice direction following, labeling, WH questions, sentence formulation, and simple inferencing. All materials come in both black and white. Grab a plastic overlay spinner or assemble the die template included to play the game. Perfect for mixed language therapy goal groups!
How To Play:
Roll the die or spin the spinner.
Move the number of spaces shown.
Pull a card from the matching deck.
(Example: If you land on a purple snowflake, pull a “Say It” card.)
The player completes the task on the card. Provide support as needed so every student can participate.
Continue playing until a player reaches the Finish space or play cooperatively until everyone reaches the end.
Optional Modification: If a student is only working on one skill, you may use just that card deck and play the game board without matching colors. In this version, every space is the same skill.
