I Am Thankful
It’s the season to be thankful! Why not do a fun activity to target speech sounds as well as discuss what a student is grateful for? We love this Thanksgiving I Am Thankful craft because it can target so much more than just speech sounds!
Color the frame. Find the correct page of target words you need and color and discuss what it means to be thankful. Cut out the items and paste them in the frame. Practice each target word throughout the entire craft. A colored copy of the frame background and items are provided for reinforcers in therapy sessions.

Cornucopia
While the origins of the cornucopia date back to ancient Greek times, we still love this articulation craft because of the wonderful fall vibes it brings! Color the cornucopia. Find the correct page of target words you need and color. Cut out the fruits and vegetables and paste them in the cornucopia. Practice each target word throughout the entire craft.
A colored copy of a variety of harvest food items and cornucopia are provided for reinforcers in therapy sessions too. Students can even describe and sort the different food items while they practice their target sounds.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Yummy! So many delicious treats! Have students fill the table or their plate with lots of different Thanksgiving food items while practicing their sounds. From sides like macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes to desserts like pumpkin pie, there are lots of savory and sweet foods to paste onto this Thanksgiving dinner table craft.
With the colored reinforcing pieces, have students tell their favorite or least favorite food. They can compare and contrast different dishes. Provide descriptions of foods and have student guess which dish you are describing. This is a great craft to incorporate both speech sound production and language concepts!
