Use this FREEBIE Fall Festival Vocabulary Scavenger Hunt Activity to target a variety of fall themed vocabulary. Help your students build their expressive and receptive vocabulary as well as their mean length of utterance. Use the vocabulary checklist to identify and label a variety of fall themed vocabulary.
How to Use:
Print and laminate the vocabulary cards to hide around the classroom or place into a sensory bin. Use the sentence strip visual to create 4-5 word utterances. Targeted vocabulary words include: Booth, Apple Bobbing, Ticket, Corn Maze, Hayride, Pie, Apple Cider, Prize Ribbon, Pumpkin Patch, Hay Bales, Ferris Wheel, Cider Donuts, Bean Bag Toss, Petting Zoo, Scarecrow, Merry-Go-Round.
Have students check off each festival themed vocabulary concept as they find it. Use the pretend magnifying glasses or a real one to search for the vocabulary words. Great way to target spatial prepositions and direction following too!
